Jagan versus Sharmila: Unraveling the True Tale Behind Their Rift

YS Sharmila, who once backed YSRCP during challenging times, has now shifted her stance, raising questions about the reasons behind her move. The shift to Congress prompts inquiries into whether she disagreed with Jagan’s statements or if external factors influenced her decision. Exploring the genuine circumstances behind Sharmila’s switch can provide clarity on her motivations.

Sharmila initially sought the Kadapa Lok Sabha seat from Jagan in the 2019 elections but relinquished the request amid considerations for YSR’s relatives. Despite assurances from CM Jagan about future opportunities, she wasn’t allocated the Rajya Sabha MP seat. Tensions arose when Sharmila’s husband’s brother, Anil, sought substantial mining contracts, leading to a strain in their relationship. Sharmila, expressing political aspirations, proposed launching party in Telangana, but Jagan, citing regional complexities, discouraged the move. Their political differences intensified, with Sharmila eventually joining Congress against Jagan’s advice, and the situation remains complex.
