Mudragada joins YSRCP: ‘Will work hard for Jagan’s Victory!’

Kapu movement leader Mudragada Padmanabham joined YSRCP. On Friday morning, CM Jagan wrapped the party scarf around him and invited him to the party at the Tadepalli camp office. Along with Mudragada, his son Giri also joined YSRCP. Along with them, former MLC Yandapalli Srinivasulu Reddy from Chittoor district has joined YSRCP. Actually, he decided to go to Tadepalli and join the party in the presence of CM Jagan on the 14th of this month i.e. Thursday. For this, even a road rally route map was announced from Kirlampudi to Tadepalli. However, it is known that the rally was cancelled due to the huge response it got.

Will work hard for victory Jagan’s victory: Mudragada

Mudragada Padmanabham said that he is happy to join YSRCP. He hailed CM Jagan as a visionary leader. He opined that justice has been done to the people of all sections for five years and that a leader like Jagan should become the CM of AP once again. Mudragada said that he will work for Jagan’s victory in the upcoming elections. But for the past few days, the debate about which party he will join has been intense in Andhra politics. It seems that he has finally turned towards YSRCP after making sure that all the social groups will get justice under the rule of CM Jagan.

The preeminence of Mudragada in the political sphere

In 1978, Mudragada Padmanabham’s political career began with the Janata Party. After that NTR founded the TDP party and Mudragada joined it. He won 4 times as MLA and once as MP in united Andhra Pradesh before Telangana. In the 1999 general elections, he won the Kakinada Lok Sabha seat on behalf of the TDP. He also worked as a minister in the TDP and Congress governments. With last year’s struggle as the leader of the Kapu movement, he created a sensation in the Telugu states. With his fresh entry into YSRCP, the heat has started in AP politics. Meanwhile, it seems that CM Jagan will use Mudragada’s services to impress Kapu voters.
