CM Revanth Reddy Unveils Vision for Telangana’s Industrial Growth

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy outlined the vision for the Mega Master Policy aimed at fostering industrial growth throughout Telangana by 2050 during a meeting with representatives from the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) at the Secretariat. Highlighting the historical trajectory of industrial development in the region, he emphasized the need for a new, investment-friendly policy. Reddy expressed the aspiration to decentralize industrial growth, extending it beyond Hyderabad to all regions of Telangana, particularly focusing on rural areas.

Under the proposed policy, Telangana will be divided into three clusters: an urban cluster along the Hyderabad Outer Ring Road (ORR), a semi-urban cluster between the ORR and the Regional Ring Road, and a rural cluster beyond the Regional Ring Road. Reddy urged the establishment of industries in Zaheerabad, focusing on food processing, sports, automobile, organic clusters, IT, pharma, health, and emphasizing opportunities in the defense and naval sectors, particularly in Hyderabad.
