Congress Leaders Meet Telangana Governor: Here’s The Reason

In the Telangana assembly elections, the Congress registered a resounding victory. People rejected the ruling BRS and crowned the Congress. With this, the Congress party won 64 seats in the state. Two days after the results announcement, the Congress Committee announced the name of Revanth Reddy as the CM candidate. Meanwhile, he is going to take oath at LB Stadium tomorrow afternoon. To this extent, TPCC Working President Mahesh Kumar Goud, Senior Vice President Mallu Ravi along other senior leaders went to Raj Bhavan. The Congress leaders handed over a letter to Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan with the signatures of 64 MLAs who won from the Congress party that elected Revanth Reddy as the leader of the CLP. He also asked the Governor to make arrangements for this in view of the swearing-in Ceremony.

Revanth’s Meeting In Delhi

Revanth Reddy, who went to Delhi on the call of the Congress leadership, met Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar, MP Manickam Tagore, KC Venugopal and the party’s national president Mallikarjuna Kharge. Revanth asked them to attend his swearing-in ceremony after discussing many issues to this extent. After that, he specially invited Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi.
