‘KCR Should Lose.. Revanth Should Win..’ Konapur Villagers
The process of nominations for the Telangana state elections is over. As yesterday was the last day for nominations, the leaders of all the parties filed their nominations. Currently, in the state, it seems that the competition is mainly between Congress and BRS. BJP’s claim that they will come to power looks like an aimless attempt. Activists and leaders are not showing that momentum and enthusiasm. While Chief Minister KCR is doing whirlwind tours as a star campaigner for the BRS party, Revanth Reddy is campaigning vigorously and is rushing to many constituencies across the state. The push of local leaders on behalf of the BJP has been minimal, but the top leaders from Delhi have already come here at many stages and participated in several meetings.
Residents of KCR’s mother’s village donate to Revanth
Revanth Reddy and the ranks of the Congress party are in good spirits in the face of the good response of the people to the Congress party. Recently, the people of Konapur, KCR’s mother’s hometown, donated nomination money for the nomination of TPCC President Revanth Reddy. Villagers met Revanth who reached Kamareddy and offered that amount. They expressed anger that nothing has been done to Konapur, KCR’s ancestral village even though he was CM twice. It is in this background that the people of Konapur suggested that KCR should be ousted this time and they wanted the Congress party to win.
Ousting KCR Is Confirmed!
They expressed anger that KCR remembered their village only during the election. They lashed out at the party leaders that their village had been neglected for ten years, but now they are coming for votes. They concluded that Konapur villagers would not vote for KCR under any circumstances. They lamented that all the villagers gave nomination money to Revanth Reddy just to dethrone him out of hatred for his rule. Revanth Reddy also made it clear that KCR must be ousted and will fight tirelessly till then.
KCR only pays lip service.. never does any work!
The day KCR filed his nomination for the Kamareddy and Gajwel seats, he explained his association with Kamareddy to the public. He explained that Posanipalli in Bibipet Mandal, today’s Konapur, was his mother’s hometown. He recalled the memories of his childhood days in this area with his mother and family. KCR said that his uncles stay in Arugonda. But the villagers concluded that none of them were ready to believe his lies for votes. They are questioning why his mother’s village that he has not remembered all these days, he is remembering suddenly now. It has to be said that this is a big blow to KCR.
