MIM Announces First List For TS Elections, Seat Increase?
Telangana is in a political frenzy. All the political parties in the state are preparing for the elections. In this context, BRS has already released its complete candidate list. Congress has mentioned 100 candidate names in two lists, BJP announced 88 candidates in three lists, and BSP party has announced 63 candidates in two lists. Similarly, these parties are preparing to release the rest of the list as well. In this background, AIMIM president and MP Asaduddin Owaisi released the first list of MIM candidates as well.
Candidates List OF MIM For Telangana Elections
- The AIMIM has released its first list of candidates to contest the assembly elections. There are six names in this list. Asaduddin Owaisi finalized the names of the following constituencies.
- Charminar – Zulfiqar Ali
- Chandrayangutta – Akbaruddin Owaisi
- Malakpet – Ahmed Balala
- Nampally – Majid Hussain
- Karwan – Kausar Mohiuddin
- Yakutpura – Jaffar Hussain Meraj
MIM To Contest In Nine Seats
MIM chief and MP Asaduddin Owaisi took a crucial decision during the assembly elections. Owaisi, who announced that they will contest nine seats in this election, said that the candidates for the remaining three seats will be announced soon. MIM, which had been contesting in only seven assembly seats till now, will contest in two more new constituencies this time. Apart from Charminar, Chandrayangutta, Yakutpura, Bahadurpura, Nampally, Karwan, and Malakpet where MIM is currently represented, it will enter the fray in Jubilee Hills and Rajendranagar seats as well. While there is a fight between BRS and Congress in these two areas, the fight is going to become more spicy with the entry of MIM.
