MLC Kavitha: ‘Will you implement 6 Guarantees or not’

BRS party MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha criticized the Congress government. She questioned the government about the guarantees. Kavitha raised many doubts about the applications for Praja Palana. “They are asking for all the details but why they are not asking for the details of the bank accounts?” She expressed doubts about whether they will ask for bank accounts later or if they are just wasting time. Kavitha spoke at a press conference organized at the BRS party office in Hanamkonda on Saturday.

She reacted to the party’s defeat in the assembly elections. Kavitha advised the ranks of the BRS party not to lose morale under any circumstances. “There are ups and downs in politics. Such situations happen. But one should exercise restraint and be patient. By taking our ideologies to the people and winning the hearts of the people we will come back in good stead. We should be strong without losing courage”, she said, giving courage to the party ranks.

Responding to the Congress regime, Kavitha said, “It would have been better if the 44 lakh people who are currently getting pensions were given an increment making the pension Rs 4 thousand and then new applications were taken. There are many doubts among people regarding the application of the six guarantees. Asking for applications means wasting time. Since they said that they will give free electricity to those who use less than 200 units, will they have to pay the current bills next January? Or not?” Kavitha said that people have doubts about the implementation of gas cylinders for Rs 500 and the government should clarify them. She reminded that there is no mention of unemployment benefits.

Kavitha talking about Medaram fair said, “Buses should be made available so that devotees do not face any problems. We have already reported to the centre to give national status to the Medaram fair. The self-respect of the tribals of this country is our badge of honour and our Sammakka Sarakka Jatara is the southern Kumbh Mela. We are demanding the central government on behalf of the people to give national status to this fair.” She made these demands to the Centre.
