Polling Concludes In Telangana: All Eyes On Election Commission

Polling for assembly elections in 5 states of the country has ended. Elections were held in the states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Mizoram this November. The Telangana Assembly elections ended on Thursday. The election results of all the states will be released on December 3. With this, everyone’s attention is now on the vote-counting process.

The EC has started work for the counting of votes in Telangana. It has set up 49 centres for counting across the 119 constituencies in the state. EC announced that the counting will start from 8 AM on December 3. In the Hyderabad, 15 counting centres have been set up in Hyderabad.

Tight security has been set up in the strong rooms where the EVMs are kept. In addition to three-tier security, CCTV cameras are being used. Along with the Telangana Police, Para military forces are being used. In this context, the EC has allowed the political leaders to stay in the strong room if they have any doubts.
