New Vande Bharat From 2024: Ready To See Picturesque Locations Of Jammu, Kashmir?

Vande Bharat train will run to Jammu and Kashmir soon. The Ministry of Railways announced this news. Before the Lok Sabha elections in 2024, the central government will announce the launch of the Vande Bharat train connecting Kashmir with the rest of India. Railway authorities have allocated eight coaches to run the Vande Bharat Express from Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla to Jammu and Kashmir.

Almost all the railway track construction work has been completed. However, in some places, the work along the tunnels is in the last stage. An official of the Railway Department said that the works may be delayed a bit here. If the Vande Bharat train becomes available, the travel time from Jammu to Kashmir will be about three and a half hours. At present, it takes about 7 hours to travel by road on the 248 km long Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.

If the Vande Bharat train becomes available, tourists can get an unforgettable train experience through the saffron fields and apple orchards in the valleys of Jammu and Kashmir. Special Vistadome coaches are being arranged to see the beauty of Jammu and Kashmir while travelling on the train. Railway authorities successfully conducted a 15-km trial run from Banihal in Khari Staton of Ramban district last week.
