Inauguration of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport

Rajiv Gandhi International Airport was built in Shamshabad, about 22 km away from Hyderabad city. This airport is named after the former Prime Minister of India, Rajiv Gandhi. Before the construction of the airport in Shamshabad, traffic continued from Begumpet airport. The airport was inaugurated by Sonia Gandhi on March 14, 2008.

Aamir Khan’s birthday

Today is the birthday of Bollywood star Aamir Khan, who is one of the leading actors in India. Aamir Khan has acted in blockbuster movies such as ‘3 Idiots’, ‘Taare Zameen Par’, ‘Dil’, ‘Lagaan’, ‘Rang De Basanti’, ‘Sarfarosh’, ‘Mangal Pandey’, ‘Fanaa’, ‘Ghajini’, and ‘PK’ earning him a special place in the history of Indian cinema. ‘Raja Hindustani’ brought Aamir the Filmfare Best Actor Award, and he also won the Filmfare Best Actor Award for ‘Lagaan’.

Albert Einstein’s birth anniversary

Albert Einstein (14 March 1879 – 18 April 1955) was a German physicist who proposed the General Theory of Relativity, one of the two fundamental theories of modern physics. He is credited with discovering the mass-energy equivalence formula E = mc^2, which is widely recognized. Einstein won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1921.
