World’s Largest Bell Takes Two Lives In Rajasthan

A terrible tragedy took place during the setting up of the world’s largest bell in Rajasthan. Two people died in an accident involving the bell that took place in the city of Kota. They fell from the top and died while fixing the huge bell. While a few more people were injured the details of this incident are as follows.

A riverfront project is being carried out on the banks of the Chambal River in Kota. As part of this, it has been decided that the world’s largest bell should be built. At the time of the tragedy, engineers were setting up the 80,000 kg bell on location. An accident occurred while fixing the bell on Monday. Engineer Devendra Arya (62), and a worker named Chotu (20) fell from a height of 35 feet. Both of them died of serious injuries. Some other workers were injured and taken to hospital.

The Specialty of the Bell

– This bell weighing 80 thousand kg is the largest in the world.
– The sound of this bell can be heard up to a distance of 8 kilometres.
