CM Revanth Reddy has shifted his focus to the new team in the government. As part of this, Revanth Reddy emphasized the selection of officials working in the CM’s office. The position changes for key officials in the BRS government have started. In this order, the names of IAS officers Smita Sabharwal and Amrapali Kata are being heard prominently. In this background, it is reported that the transfers of IAS and IPS are likely to happen soon.

Smita Sabharwal away from Reviews
It is known that former CM KCR appointed senior IAS officer Smita Sabharwal as secretary after appreciating her ability. Apart from this, Smita Sabharwal supervised the Kaleshwaram project construction works and Mission Bhagiratha works along with being the special secretary of the CMO. However, it seems that the IAS Officer has taken a key decision after the recent formation of the Congress government. It is reported that Smita has applied to join the Central Services. It is noteworthy that she did not attend even a single review meeting after the formation of the new government in the state. Recently, Smita Sabharwal made interesting comments on X saying, “Thanks to all your love, ever ready for a new challenge.” She posted these words along with her photograph from her first posting in AP.

Dynamic Officer Amrapali
There is a rumour that Amrapali Kata, a senior IAS officer known for being dynamic, is joining Revanth’s team. She is set to join the state service as she recently completed her deputation in the central services. In this order, Amrapali met CM Revanth Reddy on Monday. It seems that she has also reported to the state government, as part of this. Belonging to the AP cadre, Amrapali served as District Collector of Warangal Urban after the bifurcation of the state. She is known as a dynamic officer with in her performance as an officer. Amrapali also served as the Joint Chief Election Officer of Telangana in 2018. It is known that in 2020, she received a call from the Prime Minister’s Office and Amrapali joined the PMO as Deputy Secretary. Meanwhile, it is reported that she is likely to get a key position in Revanth’s government.
