CM Revanth Reddy’s Suggestion to Tollywood: ‘Screen Anti-Drug Ads with Stars’

CM Revanth Reddy said that the Cybercrime team is working efficiently in fighting crimes in the state. Speaking at the program organized at the Command Control Centre, the CM reminded the government of its responsibility to instil self-confidence in the people. He stated that the drug epidemic destroys families and the system and that unfortunately, drug use has become in every nook and corner. He mentioned that special staff has been assigned to control drugs and highlighted that drugs are the cause of violence against children. He urged Telangana youths not to become addicted to drugs and emphasized that they should become fighters who combat problems.

CM Revanth congratulated Megastar Chiranjeevi for participating in the drug epidemic awareness program. He suggested making a short video against drugs with the star actors in the film on the occasion of every movie release. He requested that every movie theatre should screen a video related to drug control and cybercrime free of charge before the screening of the movie. He clarified that the government would cooperate with those who comply with these rules. He reminded them that the film industry has a social responsibility to protect society and warned that in Telangana, hearing the word ‘drugs’ should induce fear. CM Revanth Reddy made it clear that friendly policing is only for victims, not for criminals.
