Jabardasth Rakesh To Debut As Lead In Garudavega Anji’s Movie ‘KCR’
The role of BRS President and Telangana CM, KCR is immeasurable in the struggle for the Telangana State. He led the agitation from the front. At the cusp of the movement, he even put his life on the line to fulfil the dreams of millions across the state. Consequently, the people of Telangana dutifully gave KCR huge mandates that made him Chief Minister twice in a row, in honour of his pivotal contribution in the eventual formation of the new state. In view of this preeminent presence of his popularity in the masses, it is intriguing to note that, now, a film named ‘KCR’ is in the works. Jabardasth fame ‘Rocking’ Rakesh is set to play the lead role ‘KCR’ in this film being produced by Green Tree Productions under the banner of Vibhoodi Entertainments.
This is going to be ‘Rocking’ Rakesh’s debut as a hero in the Telugu Film Industry after appearing in multiple comic roles, previously. PSV Garudavega fame Anji, who has worked as a DOP, is directing this film. The makers have recently released the title look of this film.
The title ‘KCR’ (Kesava Chandra Ramavat) has been locked for this film which is being made in a rural Tanda backdrop of Telangana. The title was launched in a grand event by Telangana Minister C Malla Reddy. Ananya is playing the lead actress in this movie. Senior actors Tanikella Bharani, Krishna Bhagavan, Dhanraj along with ‘Thagubothu’ Ramesh, ‘Rachcha’ Ravi, ‘Jordhar’ Sujatha and others are playing key roles. While Charan Arjun is providing music, Director Garudavega Anji is also going to put on the DOP hat for this flick. In addition, Balagam Madhu is working as editor and Battula Mahesh is acting as art director for this film.
