Nandi Awards: Telangana Govt’s Good News to the Film Industry

After the partition of the state, the Nandi Awards, which used to be given by the state government to the film industry, disappeared. Both the AP and Telangana governments ignored the Nandi awards. The rulers did not focus on the awards. The AP govt kept saying they would give the awards but they have not been given so far. Recently the Congress government in Telangana has announced to give Nandi awards. Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, who took over as the Minister for Cinematography, made a key announcement about the Nandi Awards.
