Supreme Court Shock to Koratala Shiva in ‘Srimanthudu’ Movie Copyrights Case

Director Koratala Siva faces shock in supreme court over copyright case. Supreme Court clarifies Koratala Siva must face criminal cases inquiry as ordered by Nampally Sessions Court. It’s known that the movie “Srimanthudu”, directed by Koratala Siva and starring Mahesh Babu as the hero, was released. The writer Sharath Chandra filed a criminal case against Director Koratala Siva and producers Naveen Yerneni and AMB Entertainment, alleging that they made the film “Srimanthudu” by making changes to his novel’s story titled “Chachchentha Prema” (With Immense Love).

Koratala Siva, Erneni Naveen, and AMB Entertainment filed separate petitions in the High Court challenging the criminal case filed against them. The High Court determined that director Koratala Siva must face an inquiry under the Copyright Act. Koratala Siva challenged the ruling in the Supreme Court, where he also faced a setback.
