A Human Tsunami Greets CM Jagan on Final Roadshow of Election Campaign

The election campaign led by YSRCP chief and CM Jagan concluded with a roadshow on the Pithapuram road at 5 PM. On January 28, the YSRCP leader kickstarted the campaign with ‘Siddham’ meetings and proceeded with campaigning in three phases. ‘Siddham’ meetings witnessed massive open-air gatherings organized in parliamentary constituencies. Subsequently, Jagan embarked on the ‘Memanta Siddham’ bus yatra and conducted roadshows and meetings on this yatra. Following this, they engaged in public meetings and road shows across assembly constituencies. Today, Jagan addressed a gathering at Kalamandir Centre in Chilakaluripet, within the Narasaraopet Parliament boundary, in the morning. Later in the afternoon, he held an election campaign meeting in Kaikaluru and Pithapuram of Eluru district.

Special Emphasis on Pithapuram

YSRCP has been particularly attentive to Pithapuram from the outset. With Janasena leader Pawan Kalyan contesting from this constituency, Jagan directly targeted him, referencing Vanga Geetha from the same community who is contesting against him. Jagan questioned whether women would trust an adopted son who changes wives every five years and whether there would be any significance if he were elected as an MLA. He also inquired whether justice would prevail if such a person were voted for.

Jagan Vows to Make Vanga Geetha Deputy CM

CM Jagan urged the people to vote Pithapuram YSRCP candidate Vanga Geetha into power saying that she is like a mother and elder sister to him. Jagan assured that if Vanga Geetha triumphs, he will appoint her as Deputy CM. Before him, Vanga Geetha made noteworthy remarks in this roadshow in Pithapuram alongside CM Jagan. She said, “I would not say that Pawan Kalyan won’t work but that there is no scope for Pawan Kalyan to work.” She questioned whether Pawan was criticizing her only for doing good work. She lashed out that unlike Pawan Kalyan who rushed to Hyderabad once he got a fever, she did not go anywhere. “Is Pawan Kalyan and Janasena questioning me and insulting me only because I am a woman”, asked Vanga Geetha.
