Amit Shah Cancels Bhimavaram Meeting: TDP Alliance Gripped by Fear of Defeat!

Andhra Pradesh politics has reached a pivotal juncture. With just two days remaining until polling day, the campaigning of the ruling YSRCP is in full swing. However, the Chandrababu-led alliance finds itself engulfed in profound disappointment and despair. The majority of surveys favouring the YSRCP have instilled fear of defeat within the TDP alliance. Despite reviewing several surveys, it’s evident that the alliance won’t secure more than 50 seats, leaving them uncertain about their next steps. Intelligence reports received by the NDA government at the centre assert that the TDP alliance stands little chance of seizing power in AP. In light of this, Home Minister Amit Shah’s cancellation of today’s Bhimavaram Sabha seems significant.

YSRCP Set to Secure 120 Seats, Alliance Limited to 50!

A slew of surveys, numbering around ten to fifteen, have underscored the likelihood of the YSRCP clinching over 120 seats. Surveys conducted by ‘Pioneer Poll Strategies’, ‘Swatantra TV’, ‘Poll Strategy Group’, and ‘C Voter’ unanimously predict a YSRCP victory in AP. The obstructive actions of Chandrababu and his cohorts, hindering pension disbursements and withholding cash from recent welfare schemes, have evidently harmed the alliance’s prospects.

Aligning with BJP a Big Blow to Babu?

The debate over reservation policies has intensified nationwide. Reports suggest that SC, ST, and BC reservations could face annulment, with constitutional amendments on the cards if the BJP returns to power. Against this backdrop, Chandrababu and Pawan’s alliance with the BJP has backfired, leading to internal discord within the alliance. Turmoil persists within the alliance, particularly concerning the allocation of seats in ten to twenty constituencies, sparking discontent among leaders. Analysts foresee these developments casting a formidable negative shadow over the alliance’s prospects.
