Another Award For AP: National Accolade For ‘Jagananna Gorumudda’

Andhra Pradesh is attracting the attention of the nation with its welfare and development programs. As the revolutionary programs are implemented, the awards are coming into the lap of AP. While it has already received awards in many categories, the central government has recently announced an award for ‘Jagananna Gorumudda’.

AP government is providing nutritious food to the students in government schools in the name of ‘Jagananna Gorumudda’. The central government announced the award as this scheme contributes to the prevention of anaemia among adolescent students. Dr. Zoya Ali Rizvi, Deputy Commissioner, Ministry of Women and Child Welfare, presented the award in New Delhi, the national capital. AP School Education Department Nodal Officer Hemarani, Health Department Nodal Officer Devi, and Women and Child Welfare Department Nodal Officer Sridevi received the award. AP Ministers and MLAs expressed happiness on receiving this award. They said that the schemes and programs implemented by CM Jagan are getting awards on a large scale. That is why it is said that ‘AP needs Jagan’.
