Volunteers Play a Crucial Role in Governance

Since the introduction of the volunteer system by CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy in the state, volunteers have been playing a crucial role in the governance and delivery of government services. Volunteers play a crucial role in making welfare schemes accessible to the public, solving community issues in villages, mandals, and districts, and facilitating the resolution of public grievances by acting as a bridge between the people and the government. They also personally visit every beneficiary’s home to distribute welfare pensions. They explain the details and implementation dates of various government welfare schemes, including ration delivery, Arogyasri cards, and house titles, to the beneficiaries. During floods and disasters, volunteers extensively participate in relief operations in affected areas, providing essential assistance and support to those in need.
