AP Elections: ‘Jabardasth’ Performers Lead as Star Campaigners for Janasena

As election polling approaches, political fever escalates across the state. Party leaders are incessantly busy. On one side, YSRCP leader Jagan is aggressively campaigning with the ‘Memu Anta Siddham’ bus tour. On the other side, the TDP alliance has kicked off its campaign. The recent candidate list announced by Janasena has left the public and party workers astounded. Furthermore, the appearance of star campaigners for the party has notably impressed the state’s people.

Do They Have a Basic Understanding?

In the elections, Janasena leader Pawan Kalyan has appointed star campaigners, wishing for the candidates’ success. While it is common for parties to enlist major political and cinema stars as campaigners, Pawan Kalyan has uniquely chosen comedians who perform in comedy shows like ‘Jabardasth’ and other TV programs as star campaigners. Names like dance master Johnny, Hyper Aadi, Getup Seenu, and ‘Thirty Years Industry’ Prithvi have been included in the campaign roster. The party’s state general secretary, Konidela Nagababu, and cricketer Ambati Rayudu are also involved. Questions are being raised: Do they know anything about politics? Do they have at least a basic understanding?

Limited Only to Fundraising!

Konidela Nagababu, the State General Secretary of the Janasena Party, has been limited to merely collecting donations. Nagababu, who is always at the forefront of collections, has not attended any campaign rallies for some time now. He isn’t even campaigning in areas where Janasena candidates are contesting. With the absence of anyone notable accompanying Pawan except some TV artists, concerns are rising. On the other hand, YSRCP leader YS Jagan has notably declared that the beneficiaries who gained from their government’s schemes are the star campaigners for his party.
