AP Elections: Turmoil in TDP, Confusion Among Janasena Leaders!

The upcoming general elections in Andhra Pradesh have intensified the efforts of political parties to secure victory. The ruling party, YSRCP, has already appointed in-charges for approximately 68 assembly constituencies in four lists. In contrast, the TDP and Janasena parties are still in the process of finalizing their candidate lists. However, internal divisions within the TDP have escalated, leading to a lack of unity among its leaders. The announcement of TDP candidates before settling seat adjustments between Janasena and TDP has caused confusion among Janasena leaders.

There are discussions among Janasena leaders speculating that Chandrababu has a larger plan. The uncertainty about the number of seats Janasena should contest has left its leaders in a dilemma. Chandrababu’s last-minute allocation of seats to Janasena has fueled criticism from Jana Sena leaders, particularly regarding the unilateral announcement of Vegulla Jogeswara Rao as the candidate for the Mandapet constituency without consulting Janasena chief Pawan.

Chandrababu’s decision to name the TDP candidate for Mandapet without addressing the alliance with Janasena has shocked Janasena district in-charges. Despite Leela Krishna expressing confidence in Mandapet as a strong constituency for Janasena, concerns arise about whether Janasena will indeed receive tickets for the upcoming elections. The uncertainty surrounding seat distribution has left Janasena leaders feeling uneasy and confused.
