AP Government Achieves New Milestone in Employment Resources

The Andhra Pradesh government is proactively working towards providing employment and job opportunities to students and unemployed youth in the state. The focus is on comprehensive skill training programs, spanning from school level to degree, engineering, PG, and other courses in demand in the market. Trained individuals are receiving essential support in securing jobs. The state’s remarkable performance in English, numerical, critical thinking, and computer skills has positioned Andhra Pradesh as a national exemplar in skill development. As a result, the state has secured the 3rd position in the country in terms of employment sources, showcasing its commitment to fostering a skilled and employable workforce.

Displaying a well-distributed range of job opportunities across the state, Andhra Pradesh has seen an improvement in employment sources compared to previous years. According to a recent report, the state secured the 3rd position with a percentage of 72.38, a notable increase from 65.58 per cent last year. Haryana claimed the top spot with 76.47 per cent, followed by Maharashtra in second place with 73.03 per cent. In contrast, Telangana maintains its position at the sixth spot with 67.79 per cent. Experts are pleased with Andhra Pradesh’s improved ranking, particularly after the state’s bifurcation.

Experts commend CM YS Jagan as a visionary leader, highlighting his forward-thinking approach. Recognizing the need for future skills in various industries, a specialized program has been introduced to provide students with training in human resources and internships, mainly focusing on ‘artificial intelligence’ creation. The India Skills report further reveals the government’s commitment to enhancing job opportunities for students through skill development initiatives.
