AP Government: CM Jagan Takes One More Step To Uplift Fishermen

The YSRCP government in AP is implementing the YSR Matsyakara Bharosa Scheme to provide financial support to the fishermen families. In this context, CM Jagan is taking another step forward to increase the living standards of fishermen. With this, CM Jagan will shower blessings on the occasion of World Fishery Day on Tuesday. As part of this, three more prestigious programs will be launched today to further benefit the fishermen. He will visit the Sullurupeta constituency of Tirupati district. To this extent, they will reach the Special Economic Zone in Tada Mandal’s Mambattu.

Fish Landing Center In 5 Acres

The foundation stone of the Fish Landing Center (FLC) built on 5 acres at a cost of Rs.23.93 crore will be laid at Rayadaru, Wakadu Mandal. About 20 thousand fishermen families will benefit from this. After that, CM Jagan will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for various development works of the R&B and Irrigation Department. In connection with the Pulicat Lake, the restoration works of the closed lake mouth will be taken up at a cost of Rs.94.75 crores. This will also benefit more than 20 thousand fishermen families. Later, CM Jagan’s speech will continue in the public meeting. Meanwhile, 10 fishing harbours and 6 fish landing centres are being constructed for the fishermen at a cost of Rs.3,793 crores. It is known that the construction of Ramayapatnam, Machilipatnam, Moolpet and Kakinada gate ports has been started with Rs.11 thousand crores.

The CM To Push A Button and Deposit Cash

Many have lost their livelihood due to ONGC and GSPC pipeline works. To this extent, Rs.11,500 each as the fourth instalment, Rs.69 thousand for 6 months, a total of Rs.161.86 crore assistance will be directly deposited to the accounts of the beneficiaries by pressing the button. As a result, Rs 485.58 crore compensation will be paid to 23,458 people who lost their jobs. But recently 16,554 people have been paid Rs.78.22 crores. Earlier, compensation of Rs.323.72 crore was deposited in three instalments to 23,458 people who lost their jobs due to the construction of the ONGC pipeline.
