Setting a Benchmark in National Agricultural Support

In line with the election promise, the YS Jagan government is providing investment support under the YSR Rythu Bharosa scheme, setting an example for the country. Uniquely in India, this scheme benefits not only farmers owning their land but also SC, ST, BC, minority, tenant farmers, and those cultivating forest, and endowment lands, offering Rs. 13,500 per annum as investment support. While the election promise was to provide Rs. 12,500 per year totalling Rs. 50,000 over five years, the noteworthy increase to Rs. 13,500 annually, totalling Rs. 67,500, marks a significant enhancement of the scheme.
