AP Government’s Land Revolution.. One More Step Forward For CM Jagan

CM Jagan has taken another step to bring historic changes in the AP revenue system. Apart from providing land to the landless poor, they are also reducing land problems by giving them all rights. To this extent, CM Jagan will formally start the distribution program of land documents at Nuziveedu in the Eluru district today. The self-respect of Dalits will be upheld and land will be allocated for burial grounds. While Dalits, poor and weaker sections without assigned lands have already been given assigned, Grama Service, Inam and SC Corporation lands, they will now get all the rights over them.

The Aim Is To Uplift The Poor

For the first time in the country, CM Jagan will initiate many programs to provide a permanent solution to various types of land problems. The government has brought the YSR-Jagananna Permanent Land Rights and Land Protection scheme to bring the SC, ST, BC and minorities to a better economic status in the state. Through the land survey undertaken after one hundred years, among 17,595 revenue villages, the re-survey of 42.6 lakh acres in 4 thousand villages has been completed in two instalments. Through this scheme, more than 20 lakh poor people will be benefited across the state. Land distribution and land rights will be provided to the poor over more than 35 lakh acres. Freshly, 46,463 acres of assigned land will be distributed to 42,307 poor citizens. Assigned leases of 9,064 acres of Lanka Lands will be given to 17,768 people like never before. Also, for the first time in the state, assigned lands will be removed from the 22A list to provide ownership rights. The poor will be given full ownership rights over the lands that have been assigned for more than 20 years. To this extent, 15,21,160 poor farmers belonging to SC, ST, BC and minority communities across the state will get full ownership rights on 27,41,698 acres assigned to them.

Scheme Implemented Successfully

The YSR-Jagananna Saswatha Bhu Hakku-Bhu Raksha Scheme is being successfully implemented for the implementation of undisputed land ownership rights and a clear titling system in the state. The services of 10,185 Village Surveyors, 2688 VROs, 5417 Panchayat Secretaries, 3786 Planning Secretaries and 679 Mobile Magistrates are exclusively utilized for this programme. Meanwhile, a re-survey of lands in four thousand villages has already been completed in two phases. In the third phase, preparations are being made to complete the survey in another 2,000 villages by January 31 next year.
