AP Politics: Continuous Disagreements and Betrayals by Chandrababu

As the elections draw near in Andhra Pradesh, the political landscape is becoming more intriguing. The ruling party YSRCP is assigning in-charges for constituencies and making alterations to its list of candidates. On the other side, TDP leader Ra Kadalira will conduct meetings to announce their candidates. Notably, YSRTP president and Chief Minister Jagan’s sister, Sharmila, recently joined the Congress party, intensifying the political dynamics in AP.

TDP vs Janasena

Tensions are rising between TDP and Jana Sena. Reports suggest that Janasena in-charge Leela Krishna expressed displeasure when Chandrababu announced Jogeswara Rao as the TDP MLA candidate in Mandapet Sabha. Leela Krishna had been actively involved in party activities, aspiring to contest as a Janasena candidate in Mandapet. With Chandrababu’s decision to field Jogeswara Rao, there are speculations on how Leela Krishna will align himself, possibly supporting TDP. Similarly, when Chandrababu announced Donnudora as the TDP candidate in Araku Sabha, sources within the party indicated that Abraham, the son of former MLA Siviri, was dissatisfied with the choice. Political analysts predict a potential setback for TDP in Araku.

Chandrababu’s assurances

In the 2019 elections, Kidari Sravan contested from Araku and faced defeat. At that time, Chandrababu assured Siveri Abraham of the Araku seat in the 2024 elections. However, both Abraham and Sravan were disappointed when Chandrababu announced Donnudora as Araku’s assembly candidate. Despite earlier promises made by Chandrababu during his tenure as CM, the disappointment among Abraham, Sravan, and their followers is palpable as Chandrababu seemed to have reneged on his commitments to them.
