AP Prisons Department Unravels Chandrababu’s New ‘Weight Loss’ Spin: Aides In Disarray

Ever since his arrest in the Skill Development Scam, Former CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu has been leading followers astray with strange theatrics. As the authorities submitted strong evidences for the corruption charges against him, Babu seems to be busy coming up with creative distraction tactics.

After the first lot of grievances in the form of ‘dehydration‘ and ‘skin allergy‘, now he has opened the door for a new ‘weight loss‘ controversy. Consequently, the family members and party leaders have wasted no time in following suit and blowing up this new ‘controversy’ out of proportion.

Earlier when it was revealed that Chandrababu had been suffering ‘dehydration’, he was immediately attended to by doctors, who, after tests, started giving liquids to him. Later, when he complained that he had ‘rashes’ on his skin, an Associate Professor and an Assistant Professor were put in charge of further tests. The results suggested the rashes to be non-threatening and quite a normal occurrence. Subsequently, the jail authorities installed 8 fans and mosquito nets in Chandrababu’s cell. Now that these two plans seem to be foiled, CBN has come up with a new complaint yet again.

Speaking on the issue, Nara Bhuvaneshwari accused that, after being jailed, Chandrababu’s condition has been deteriorating. She added that his skin allergy has been ignored and that he has lost 5 Kgs of weight. She also concluded that he needs to be hospitalized immediately.

Recently, the Prisons Department responded to these allegations. DIG Ravi Kiran disclosed that Chandrababu is in perfect health inside the Rajahmundry Central Jail. He added that they have been providing Chandrababu with home food and water everyday. The Department also revealed that they are in constant touch with CBN and that they have consulted the personal doctor that treated him as well. They are also keeping an eye on whether Chandrababu is taking all his medicines on time in co-ordination with the prison’s medical team.

In addition, they said that Babu was undergoing 3 health check-ups per day and that his weight has, in fact, gone up from 66 Kgs on the day he arrived to the current 67 Kgs. Finally, the Prisons Department has categorically called for a full stop on negative rumours like Babu’s ill health or weight loss.

This announcement seems to have given Chandrababu, his family and the party leaders a sore throat, now. They seem to be unable to do anything and have thus become silent. Chandrababu, who lost his reputation after being exposed in scams and stuck in cases, hasn’t stopped his political games even in jail. Apparently, people have already lost faith in him, but with these latest developments, Chandrababu’s antics are irking even the least political members of the society and testing their patience.
