AP Was ‘No.1’ Under Babu’s Regime: What Is The Situation Now?

After the bifurcation of the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh state in 2014, TDP leader Chandrababu went to the polls with the name of experience in the elections. TDP leaders campaigned that Chandrababu’s experience would be very useful for the development of AP, which it had lost due to partition. People also believed this and Chandrababu won that election and assumed power. But during Chandrababu’s five-year rule, corruption reigned supreme. Chandrababu failed to implement welfare schemes along with development. Recently, a post on X about this matter has captured the attention of politically active users.

‘I Am Number One In Corruption’

During Chandrababu’s regime, AP was No.1 one in corruption in the country. But after YS Jagan assumed power in 2019, CM Jagan gave a new definition to the CM term by making the administration transparent and completely corruption-free. Similarly, during Chandrababu’s regime, the drought in Rayalaseema districts reached the first posistion in the country due to water scarcity. In 2016, Krishna water of only 0.95 TMC taken from the Pothireddypadu regulator, which supplies water to Rayalaseema, setting record for the lowest ever water supply for the Seema region. However, under YS Jagan’s rule, 179 TMCs were brought from Pothireddypadu in 2020.

Fraud With 600 Guarantees

Chandrababu gave 600 promises and took the No.1 position, but he did not fulfil even 10 per cent of the promises given. But CM Jagan gave only 9 promises in the form of Navaratnas. Also, Chandrababu has raised the prices of houses for the poor like nowhere else in the country and made AP No.1. But CM Jagan provided houses to the poor for just one rupee and fell behind Chandrababu’s record by lakhs of times.

Education System – Sold To Corporates

If during Chandrababu’s rule, the education system was taken over by the corporates, CM Jagan is changing the entire education system of the state and making the government schools to reach the corporate level. Also, if Chandrababu closed thousands of schools, Jagan has provided facilities in all the schools with the Nadu-Nedu program to radically shape the outline of 44,512 schools.

Babu Who Did Not Support Farmers

Chandrababu, who came to power in 2014 by promising a complete farmer loan waiver, has made the farmers fools. While he neglected to support the farmers during his regime by calling agriculture as useless, CM Jagan is doing the opposite of that by giving complete assurance to the farmers. A total of 10,778 Rythu Bharosa Kendras have been set up in the state to support the farmers in all ways from seed to sale.

Government Administration Is An Unreachable Grape

While Chandrababu completely destroyed the rural system by making the government administration a grape for the villagers, against this CM Jagan set up 15,004 village and ward secretariats in the state and took the governance of the government into the hands of the people. Similarly, Jagan is working to establish 17 government medical colleges as opposed to Chandrababu who has crippled the government medical and education sector in AP. Apart from this, Chandrababu said that he is the pioneer of IT, while holding a worn-gram phone record, Jagan is developing all sectors in AP along with IT.

Only 25 crores For Uddanam Area.

Chandrababu heard the pleas of the residents of Uddanaman region who are living miserable lives due to kidney diseases. In five years, Chandrababu sanctioned only Rs.25 crores. But CM Jagan not only spent Rs.700 crores for fresh water supply and another Rs.265 crores for protected fresh water supply in Pathapatnam and Meliaputti areas but also built a kidney disease hospital in Palasa at a cost of another Rs.50 crores. If Chandrababu is the number one CM who has spent Rs.9000 crores of public money with no records to show for it, in an unprecedented manner in the history of the country, CM Jagan has backed away by depositing Rs.4.69 lakh crores in people’s accounts through DBT and non-BBT.

Babu Deserves Credit For Organizing The Olympics

While Chandrababu said that he had fixed the spillway gate of the Polavaram project built with the highest discharge capacity in the world by blocking half a piece of foil in it, CM Jagan’s government had fixed a total of 48 gates in the spillway. Also, if Chandrababu thinks that AP will be number one in the world and build Amaravati like Singapore, Japan, Malaysia and Hong Kong by spending Rs. 5 lakh crores in debt, he is going ahead with decentralization of development against CM Jagan. Similarly, if Chandrababu wants to keep AP as number one in the country by building hyperloops, bullet trains and even controlling the temperature and hosting Olympics in Amaravati, CM Jagan is building thousands of health centres and seaports.

Rs. 1 Lakh Per Square Meter – Waste Of Public Money

Chandrababu’s government wasted public money by paying Rs.1 lakh per square meter to the contractor even for the temporary government buildings in Amaravati. For the skill development of the job seekers, CM Jagan is setting up government universities for skill development, while saving hundreds of crores to the extent that the world is in awe of it. During Chandrababu’s tenure, the power companies owed more than Rs.25 thousand crores and made power purchase agreements with various companies at the highest unit price, CM Jagan cleared all those arrears. Moreover, the construction of renewable energy pumped storage and hydel power generation centers with huge capacity is being carried out at a fast pace in the state. Chandrababu, who is famous for saying that he is ‘the visionary’ after destroying all the systems in the 38 government departments in the state, has degraded the state. In the next election, CM Jagan will hold one hundred percent i.e. 175/175 assembly seats and stand as number one.
