BJP Alliances with Janasena in AP: Purandeswari Make Key Comments

Political dynamics in Andhra Pradesh are heating up as elections draw near. YSRCP has chosen to contest alone in the upcoming elections. At the same time, the Janasena, aligned with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has declared collaboration with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). Concurrently, the Indian National Congress and Left parties are in discussions regarding a joint contest.

Amidst these developments, the nature of Janasena’s alliance with the BJP remains unclear. Despite Pawan Kalyan, the leader of Janasena, affirming their alliance with the BJP on multiple occasions, Purandeswari reiterated the alliance. Pawan Kalyan emphasized that the central leadership would make the final decision on aligning with the Telugu Desam Party. While expressing readiness to contest if directed by the party, Purandheswari clarified that Janasena has not officially announced any rivalry, focusing instead on preparing the party for future elections in the state.
