BJP State President Purandheswari Highlights Central Initiatives, Criticizes YSRCP

Daggubati Purandeshwari, the BJP State President, asserted that the state government is affixing labels to schemes introduced by the central government. She emphasized that the central government is set to undertake the construction of a medical college, ESI hospital, and the Morampudi flyover in Rajahmundry. Purandeshwari noted that under the Jal Jeevan Mission, the Center had sanctioned 6000 tap connections. Additionally, a highway from Rajahmundry to Lambasinghi is underway to promote tourism development.

Expressing criticism, Purandeshwari claimed that CM Jagan is merely distributing funds allocated by the Center without proper utilization. She voiced concerns about the poor condition of roads in the state and accused the government of destroying mangroves under the guise of housing projects. Purandeshwari insisted that the Center has decided against altering the names of Central Government schemes by State Governments. She affirmed her willingness to contest elections wherever the central leadership deems fit.”
