CBN’s offer to Pawan: JSP to remain toothless in yet another election?

Pawan Kalyan has been in active politics for more than a decade now, including his years in PRP. But his recent decisions regarding his party’s direction in the coming AP Assembly elections reveal he has failed to learn an important lesson in politics. That is: ‘In politics, do not trust anyone and never trust Chandrababu Naidu’. Ignoring this saying, Pawan made his party Janasena stand squarely behind TDP and Chandrababu through thick and thin, keeping aside his party’s ambitions.

In this context, the latest information about Chandrababu’s offer to Pawan and JSP may come as a shock to fans. Reportedly, Chandrababu had offered only 22 seats to JSP in the coming assembly elections. Pawan was shocked and asked that he should get at least 35 seats. Then, Babu reportedly said he could consider giving more than 22, but gave a deadline of January 9th for Pawan to decide. According to inside information, Pawan, who gave up way too much to stand beside TDP, was shocked by this high-handedness and was really disappointed. Reportedly, Nadendla Manohar is trying to convince Pawan to settle for 25 seats. But Pawan Kalyan seems to be of the opinion that he won’t be able to show his face to the JSP cadre and leaders of the Kapu community if he takes this offer.

It is reported that Nara Lokesh’s statement saying, “There is no dispute that Chandrababu is the CM of the alliance,” in a recent interview was also aimed at pressurizing Pawan Kalyan in this aspect. Besides, it is reported that Pawan Kalyan was not taken into the loop regarding the recent meeting the TDP leadership had with Prashant Kishor. It went on without Pawan Kalyan’s knowledge.

On the other hand, Pawan had gone all-in to defend Chandrababu when he was in jail, without any second thought. But, the developments of the past week seem to have left Pawan Kalyan in shock.

All this leads us to conclude that Pawan Kalyan is yet to learn an important political principle that is, ‘In politics, do not trust anyone and never trust Chandrababu’. The Janasena supremo had given his blind support to TDP and CBN despite countless warnings and suggestions from his followers as well as former PRP leaders.

Keeping all this aside, reports suggest that Nadendla Manohar is busy convincing Pawan Kalyan that Janasena does not have any scope beyond this offer and it is better to accept CBN’s offer when it is on the table.
