Chandrababu Visits Storm-Affected Areas: 2 Lakh Aid Announced

TDP National President Nara Chandrababu Naidu visited the Parchur Constituency of Bapatla District, which was damaged due to the Michaung cyclone. He examined how the hurricane affected the crops in Cherukuru village. An interesting development took place on this occasion. While Chandrababu was passing through the town of Cherukuru, he saw a farmer named Gaddam Srinivasa Rao picking chillies. Chandrababu immediately stopped and greeted the farmer.

A farmer named Srinivasa Rao expressed his grief that he had planted 6 acres of chillies. Due to the storm, the water stopped in the field, and the chillies rotted. He revealed that there was nothing else to do or to harvest crops. Chandrababu was moved to see the farmer’s pain that all his investment and hard work had been wasted. 2 lakh aid was announced to farmer Srinivasa Rao. He consoled the farmer to be brave.
