Chandrababu’s Surprise to Kesineni, Cautions Against Interference

Andhra Pradesh politics is unfolding with notable developments as both the ruling and opposition parties escalate their activities. In a recent twist, the TDP has made a significant decision by denying a ticket to sitting MP Kesineni Nani for the Vijayawada MP seat. Party leaders reportedly informed Nani about this decision, which he subsequently disclosed to the media.

Representatives of the party approached Kesineni following the instructions of party leader Chandrababu. They communicated Chandrababu’s directive to refrain from involving him in the Tiruvuru meeting scheduled for the 7th of this month, citing the appointment of a new in-charge. Chandrababu expressed the intention to consider alternative candidates for the Vijayawada Lok Sabha seat in the upcoming election. In response to these developments, Keshineni Nani assured them that he would follow the instructions of the TDP party.

Keshineni Nani’s ticket rejection seems to stem from various reasons, including Nani’s past comments against the party and YS Jagan’s supportive remarks towards the government, causing internal discord. Proximity to the party appears to be a contributing factor. Looking ahead, it is speculated that Keshineni Nani may join the ruling YSRCP after being denied the party ticket. With a stronghold on the Vijayawada MP position, Nani’s popularity transcends party lines, and he is expected to secure a significant victory if he decides to contest from YSRCP. The future remains uncertain, and only time will reveal the true intentions and decisions.
