CM Jagan Delivers on Election Promise: YSR Pension Increases from January 1

Cash inflow is set to rise with the government’s YSR Pension Kanuka in AP, in line with Chief Minister Jagan’s commitment. Effective January 1, the social pension value will increase to Rs. 3,000, as announced by CM Jagan. To inaugurate this program, CM Jagan will visit Kakinada on January 3, starting with a public meeting at Rangaraya Medical College Grounds.

The increased pension, approved by the AP cabinet, brings happiness to pensioners statewide, with the government providing pension support to the elderly, disabled, single women, transgenders, and widows. CM Jagan’s decision to raise the current pension from Rs. 2,750 to Rs. 3,000 fulfils the CM guarantee made during the last election.
