CM Jagan Disburses Jagananna Chedodu Fulfilling Promises

CM Jaganmohan Reddy visited Emmiganoor in Kurnool district on Thursday. On this occasion, funds were released to the beneficiaries of the Jagananna Chedodu scheme. CM Jagan released the amounts by a button press in a public meeting held at the YWCS ground. CM Jagan said, “As we promised during Padayatra to make the backward castes and communities strong like a backbone, we have kept that promise throughout the 52 months of rule.” He said that under the Jagananna Chedodu scheme, assistance is being given for the fourth year in a row.

The schemes are being implemented without any corruption or discrimination. He said that 3,25,020 eligible Rajaka, Nai Brahmin, and Darjees across the state have received Rs.325 crores. This came as direct transfers to their bank accounts in installments of Rs.10,000 per candidate. So far, the government has deposited a total of Rs.1252.52 crores under this scheme.

AP Government’s No Discrimination Policy

CM Jagan said that there is no bribery and discrimination anywhere in the state. Those who are struggling in handicrafts and small businesses have been supported through Chedodu, Vahana Mitra, and many other schemes. This promotes self-employment. He reminded that arrangements are being made to provide assistance to all of them regularly every year. “At every step, only if my sisters from my SCs, STs, BCs, minorities, and poorer sections are uplifted, then only the families will be uplifted. That is the reason I brought in YSR Aasara scheme,” explained Jagan.
