CM Jagan refuses to meet Ongole MLA: Upset Balineni leaves for Hyd

Senior leader Balineni Srinivas Reddy, who continued as a minister after the party came to power, is now likely to leave the party. Former minister Balineni, who was sacked in the cabinet expansion, has been unhappy with the party since then. He is staying away from CM Jagan. CM Jagan spoke to Balineni two or three times as this matter caused a great uproar in the Ongole district. Balineni, who retreated then, now seems to be looking for other options. He is looking for an alternative as he is being refused the party ticket at the time of assembly elections. While he is trying to convey the same, party chief CM Jagan is not giving him a chance.

His weeklong attempts to meet the CM have been unsuccessful. Party MP Vijayasai Reddy called Balineni from Hyderabad three days ago for a meeting with the party chief. Balineni has been waiting for CM’s appointment for 3 days in Vijayawada Lemon Tree Hotel. Balineni expressed his anger as he did not get a chance for three days during the festival. Balineni, thinking that he would be insulted by not calling and meeting, immediately left Vijayawada and went to Hyderabad. CM Jagan did not give him a chance to meet, so Balineni was upset with him. The Balineni faction says that they will announce their political decision soon.

But the party is willing to give Balineni the sitting seat. But Balineni is asking the party leadership to give tickets in Ongole MP seat, Darshi, Kanigiri and Markapuram assembly seats to his faction. It is reported that CM Jagan is refusing as he is asking for majority seats in the joint Prakasam district. There is a possibility that CM Jagan will agree to the meeting if there is anything else to talk about. But it seems that the party leadership has put aside the Balineni case as they are not backing down.

Meanwhile, it is reliable information that Balineni left for Hyderabad after telling the I-PAC members about his decision. It is noteworthy that after this development, Balineni was not available to the media or for a phone call. It is reported that he is thinking about his political future in Hyderabad. It seems that there are plans to resign from YSRCP soon.
