CM Jagan: ‘Will transform prodigies into diamonds in sports!’

CM Jagan said that the Aadudam Andhra program will contribute to bringing out the hidden talents in rural areas. He clarified that the rubies in the soil will be selected and then shaped into diamonds. He started Aadudam Andhra sports competitions with a bang on Tuesday in Nallapadu of Guntur district. After that, he played cricket for a while. CM Jagan then talked to the players and distributed kits to them. He spoke in the meeting held on this occasion.

“I am proud to say that sports celebrations are going to be a milestone in the history of the country. From today Aadudam Andhra will be held for 47 days till February 10 in a festive atmosphere in every village. Sports are very beneficial for the health of every human being. Aadudam Andhra is useful as a campaign to say that sports are essential in our lives. Sports are very beneficial for controlling diabetes. Exercise is very important and everyone should exercise,” explained CM Jagan.

“The main purpose of ‘Aadudam Andhra’ is to search for pearls in the villages. To introduce our children to the country by polishing those pearls like sportspersons well and turning them into a diamond without leaving them behind. A lot of players will emerge with the badminton academies established by Kidambi Srikanth and PV Sindhu,” added CM Jagan. Ministers, MLAs and other public representatives played many fun games in the opening ceremony of the sports celebrations.
