Collector Sets Example! Look What He Did For Tribals..
PARVATHIPURAM: People are looking down on government hospitals. Middle-class people do not even look at them. Parvathipuram Manyam District Collector Nishanth Kumar has taken a key decision to bring awareness to such people and encourage them to visit government hospitals. He made sure that his wife gave birth in a government hospital. While her first delivery was done in a remote area, the second delivery was recently done in the district hospital.
The collector’s wife recently gave birth to a healthy baby boy at a government hospital in Parvathipuram. The delivery was done under the supervision of a Gynecologist. Mother and child are healthy. After being discharged on Thursday, the collector came home with his wife and child. They were welcomed by family members. Meanwhile, during his earlier duties as ITDA PO, Rampachodavaram, today’s collector Nishanth Kumar witnessed his wife’s first delivery in a small local government hospital.

Collector Nishanth Kumar said that he is doing this to make the tribals trust the government hospitals and to remove the fear of treatment and surgery. He stated that if VIPs are treated in a government hospital, remote people will have faith in government medicine. The collector said that steps are being taken to get the tribals to get hospital treatment instead of traditional methods. Locals are appreciating the collector’s initiative.
