Employment Under CM Jagan’s Regime: What Do the Numbers Say?

After the state’s bifurcation, deliberations on job placements in Andhra Pradesh commenced. If you want to know whether unemployment has decreased or increased in any state, you need to be aware of the details of job placements. Recently, there have been strong debates between the ruling YSRCP and the opposition TDP on the aspect of job placements in the state. According to the central government’s records, job placements have predominantly occurred under the YSRCP administration. Notably, the number of EPF accounts in 2009-19 stood at 45 lakhs, but it has now surged to 61 lakhs.

2,76,435 jobs are filled

Party leaders assert that under the YCP government, a record-breaking number of jobs have been generated in the public sector, a feat unparalleled by any other state since independence.
