Harirama Jogaiah’s Letter to Pawan Kalyan: Expresses Concern on Loss of Political Significance

Political dynamics are heating up in Andhra Pradesh as elections loom, with major parties such as YSRCP, TDP, Janasena, Congress, and BJP entering the fray. Notably, TDP and Janasena are allying with the upcoming elections, as confirmed by TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu’s recent visit to Janasena leader Pawan Kalyan’s residence. However, a statement by Nara Lokesh, suggesting that if their alliance secures victory, Chandrababu Naidu would serve as chief minister for five years, has stirred controversy.

This announcement has sparked discontent among Kapu leaders, with Harirama Jogaiah accusing Chandrababu of conspiring to undermine Kapus’s self-respect. Harirama Jogaiah has criticized Pawan Kalyan for not responding to Lokesh’s comments on the chief ministerial post and has written a public letter expressing concern over the potential loss of political significance for the Kapu community.

In the letter, Harirama Jogaiah laments the current political scenario, deeming it a threat to the existence of Kapus. He expresses disappointment that Kapus have been used as pawns for years and calls for unity among Kapu leaders across party lines. Harirama Jogaiah urges Kapus not to seek power-sharing but to unite and raise their collective voice for their community’s welfare. The letter signifies growing unease among Kapu social leaders regarding Pawan Kalyan’s alignment with Chandrababu Naidu and underscores the need for Kapus to assert themselves politically.
