High Court Grants Regular Bail To Chandrababu.. CID To Move SC

AP High Court has granted regular bail to former Chief Minister of AP and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu in the Skill Development case. But AP CID is not leaving Chandrababu. The CID argued in the case from the beginning that Chandrababu should not be granted bail. The same argument continues even now. The CID officials will go to the Supreme Court to cancel the bail granted to Chandrababu by the AP High Court. The SLF will be filed in the Supreme Court on Tuesday.

CID’s Objection To Bail

A petition will be filed in the Supreme Court objecting to the High Court’s handling of the Skill Scam case. The CID lawyers are objecting to the High Court confirming the matter pending in the trial court and granting bail to Chandrababu. CID advocates say that it is inappropriate for the High Court to interfere in a matter within the jurisdiction of the trial court when the trial of the case is at a critical stage. The AP government is also accusing the High Court of acting beyond its jurisdiction.

Conditions Apply Only Until The 28th Of This Month

On the other hand, given the interim bail of Chandrababu till the 28th of this month, the High Court said that the conditions imposed by them will be applicable only till that day. They have clarified that he can fully participate in political activities from the 29th. The court said that the prosecution could not present the primary evidence for the allegations made against Chandrababu.

No Evidence

The High Court said that there is no evidence to say that the misused funds in the Skill Project went into the account of TDP. It commented that evidence for such serious allegations should have been shown to Chandrababu before remanding him. They revealed that they are granting regular bail to Babu considering this as a flaw in the investigation.
