Minister Roja Questions YS Sharmila’s Decision to Join Congress

Minister Roja, during her visit to Visakhapatnam, made sensational comments about AP PCC Chief YS Sharmila. She told the people to look at which party Sharmila is in now, accusing her of wrongly teaming up with the party that put YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in jail. Minister Roja advised Sharmila to ensure that the Rs. 6,000 crores due from the government formed by Revanth Reddy in Telangana, and the assets worth Rs. 1.80 lakh crores that should come to AP from the combined Andhra era, are recovered. She highlighted that Sharmila is actively campaigning through tours and proclaiming her commitment to battle in Telangana, yet Roja questioned her reasoning for merging with Congress after making such claims.

Minister Roja commented that Sharmila should disclose what benefits she aims to gain in AP by campaigning for Congress and clarify her motives for deciding to rejoin Congress, challenging her to justify her actions. “Jagan is a leader with guts. It is a shame that Chandrababu is holding the legs of the younger Amit Shah. It’s shameful that Chandrababu was born in our Chittoor district,” Roja explained. She criticized Chandrababu’s attempts to form an alliance with Congress and then the BJP just to get into power. She said that politically, Chandrababu is deteriorating day by day.
