MLC Vamsikrishna Yadav Switches from YSRCP to Janasena

As the elections draw near in Andhra Pradesh, there is a political shift with leaders switching parties. MLC Vamsi Krishna Yadav, previously associated with the ruling YSRCP, has joined the Janasena party. Expressing discontent with CM Jagan, Vamsi Krishna officially left the ruling party and was warmly welcomed by Janasena’s chief, Pawan Kalyan, at the Janasena office in Mangalagiri. Pawan Kalyan announced Vamsi Krishna’s induction into the party.

Pawan Kalyan shared, ‘I have known Vamsi since 2009 when he worked as the President of Praja Rajyam Youth Wing. He has now joined Janasena as an MLC, and I extend a warm welcome to him.’ Vamsi Krishna, expressing his reasons for joining Janasena, stated, ‘I was a fan of Pawan Kalyan before joining YSRCP. I admired Pawan’s ideas and decided to join Janasena. I am happy to be part of my party. I had to resign from YSRCP due to various forces and reasons.

Vamsi Krishna, hailing from Visakhapatnam, previously served as the Greater Visakha corporator and later became a quota MLC of the local bodies. Dissatisfied with the YSRCP, he joined Janasena, eyeing the Gajuwaka seat, previously contested by Pawan Kalyan himself. Vamsi Krishna made the switch after Janasena finalized the Gajuwaka ticket.
