MP Galla Jayadev’s Sensational Decision? Speculation on Joining YSRCP..

The political landscape is undergoing significant changes in TDP. Following the departure of Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani and his daughter, rumors now suggest that another prominent figure, Guntur MP Galla Jayadev, is contemplating leaving the TDP to join the YSRCP. Reports indicate that Jayadev is disillusioned with the leadership of Chandrababu and Lokesh, contributing to his decision to part ways with the party. Despite ongoing speculation for the past few months, the talk in Guntur is gaining momentum, particularly with elections on the horizon.

Galla Jayadev, a two-time MP from Guntur in 2014 and 2019, is reportedly hesitant to contest in the upcoming elections. The significance of Jayadev’s meeting with YSR Congress Party’s senior leader and MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy has heightened the anticipation of his potential party switch. The discussions held in this meeting are expected to be conveyed to YSR Congress Party leader and Chief Minister Jagan, creating a buzz in Guntur political circles.

Additionally, the Galla family’s business interests, including Amararaja company, are reportedly facing challenges under Jagan’s administration, prompting considerations for a strategic move to states like Telangana and Tamil Nadu. This has led to speculations that Jayadev’s inclination to join YSRCP may not solely be driven by political motives but also to secure cooperation from the ruling party for the expansion of his business ventures in AP.
