“Even after Chandrababu Naidu feels that the party does not need me, I feel that it is not right for me to continue in the party. Therefore, I am informing everyone that I will soon go to Delhi and meet the Speaker of the Lok Sabha and resign from my Lok Sabha membership and resign from the party that very moment,” Nani posted.

Beginnings in Praja Rajyam Party

Kesineni Nani entered politics in 2008 after being successful as a businessman. On 28 October 2008, Nani joined the Praja Rajyam Party founded by Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi. However, he did not like the principles of PRP and resigned from that party in just 3 months and joined the Telugu Desam Party. Nani, who joined in 2009, continued in the party despite not getting any posts. Chandrababu liked his commitment and gave him the Vijayawada MP ticket in 2014. In that election, Nani won a landslide victory over YSRCP candidate Rajendra Prasad with a majority of 5,17,834. He won from Vijayawada for the second time in 2019 as well. While trying to achieve a hat-trick this time, he was offended by the developments inside the party.

An aggressive affair

Many people are working against Kesineni in Vijayawada politics. He is very angry with Bonda Uma and Devineni Uma. He openly criticized even his own party leaders. In addition to this, he was repeatedly condemned as his own brother Kesineni Chinni was working against him. He has been expressing dissatisfaction with the party for some time now. In this order, he made comments favourable to the ruling YSR Congress Party. At that time there was a campaign that he would change the party. But he made it clear that he will remain in TDP. Recently the party representatives came to him with a warning from Chandrababu that said, ‘Don’t interfere in the affairs of the party’. This became the immediate major reason for Kesineni leaving TDP.
