Need a ticket for my wife too: Rayadurgam MLA’s shock to CM Jagan

In Andhra Pradesh, voices of discontent are growing in all political parties. Leaders are preparing to show their dominance and strength at the time of elections. They are looking towards other parties in the background of being denied the tickets, even though they have been standing as a wall for the party for many years. The sitting MLAs in the ruling YSR Congress party are on the same path. As the party chief CM Jagan is finalizing the tickets based on the survey report, Rayadurgam MLA Kapu Ramachandra Reddy is not being given a ticket in this list.

Being the sitting MLA and a senior leader, Ramachandra Reddy is expressing his displeasure over the denial of the ticket to him. He is prepared to leave the party. Ramachandra Rao, a key leader in the joint Anantapur district, has announced that he will field his wife along with him in the next election. He declared that he was ready to contest whichever party gave him the ticket. He clarified that he would not hesitate to contest as an independent candidate. But this time he created a sensation by saying that his wife would also contest the election. He said that he would allot his sitting seat, Rayadurgam, to his wife. Kapu Ramachandra Reddy revealed that he will contest as MLA from Kalyanadurgam. By declaring that senior TDP leader Kalava Srinivasulu is not his enemy he unveiled a completely new brand of politics.

It became clear that Kapu Ramachandra Reddy is joining the TDP after announcing that they were rivals for years and were no longer enemies. There is a possibility that there is some trouble in getting two tickets. TDP hopes to induct Kapu Ramachandra Reddy into the party by already. But it seems that the TDP has backed down a bit thinking that the party cadre will be angry as he is hoping for a ticket for his wife as well. We have to wait and see what happens till the election announcement.
