One more chance for new registrants? CM Jagan’s Rythu Bharosa relief

Andhra Pradesh government has given good news to the farmers. They have extended the registration date of eligible farmers in the YSR Rythu Bharosa scheme till the 30th of this month. Investment assistance under Rythu Bharosa will be provided to underprivileged tenants as well as forest land cultivators. Meanwhile, as per the directives of CM YS Jagan, this time all those who are eligible in Saturation have been given an opportunity to register on the Rythu Bharosa portal with the intention of providing investment assistance.

In three instalments every year

As part of the Rythu Bharosa scheme, an investment of Rs.13,500 is provided annually in three instalments to eligible farmers. As part of this, a first instalment of Rs. 7,500, a second instalment of Rs. 4,000 and a third instalment of Rs. 2,000 is being deposited. Under this scheme, in total an investment assistance of Rs.33,209.81 crore has been provided to 53.53 lakh farmer families in these four and a half years. But this time, it is known that the government has brought changes to apply the Rythu Bharosa scheme to tenant farmers and forest cultivators as well. To this extent, qualified SC, ST, BC, minority tenants and forest land cultivators will be given investment assistance along with the third tranche of assistance.

The third instalment is in January..

In two instalments of this year’s Rythu Bharosa funds to eligible farmers, investment assistance of Rs.6,147.72 crore has already been provided to 53.53 lakh farmer families. Among the beneficiaries are 51 lakh land owners, 1,59,674 tenants and 93,168 forest land cultivators. To this extent, the government is making arrangements to distribute the third tranche of aid in January. But recently, some more tenants and forest land cultivators have been given an opportunity to register through the Rythu Bharosa portal.
