Pawan Kalyan Lauds IAS Officer Krishna Teja for National Child Protection Award

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan congratulated Telugu IAS officer Krishna Teja for being chosen to receive the National Child Protection Commission award. He recalled Krishna Teja’s invaluable services during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic and the Kerala floods disaster. Pawan Kalyan mentioned that Krishna Teja continues to inspire the youth with his dedication to public service. Currently, Krishna Teja is serving as the District Collector of Thrissur in Kerala.

Krishnateja from Chilakaluripet in Palnadu district has been chosen for the National Child Rights Commission award for making Thrissur district a leader in safeguarding children’s rights across the country. He will receive this award in Delhi on the 27th. Krishnateja, an IAS officer from the 2015 batch, took charge as the Collector of Thrissur district in Kerala in March 2023. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they identified 609 students who became orphans after losing their parents and provided them with support to continue their education. They also built homes for 35 widows and created job opportunities for another 150 women.
