Pawan Kalyan Urges PM Modi for CBI and ED Probe into YRSCP Housing Scam

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan writes to PM Modi, alleging a massive scam by the YSRCP government in the housing scheme for the poor, involving Rs. 35,141 crores. He urges a CBI and ED investigation, emphasizing the need to address corruption in housing construction during the YCP government’s tenure.

Pawan Kalyan alleges discrepancies in the cost of constructing houses for the poor, citing Rs. 1,75,421 crore against the government’s claim of Rs. 91,503 crore. He accuses the government of cheating the poor, exploiting public funds, and diverting money meant for central schemes. Pawan highlights the failure to build the promised 30 lakh houses, with only 12,09,022 house plots distributed from 17,005 layouts. YSRCP leaders are accused of profiting from the scheme, integrating central government housing schemes for the poor and diverting funds for their use.
